The NDA written exam question paper is bilingual, and Mathematics and General Ability sections other than the English paper can be attempted in Hindi. This genuinely levels the field for Hindi-medium students on the written exam — the gap that actually shows up later is functional spoken and written English at the SSB and afterward at the academy.
The right approach is not to delay English until after clearing the written exam. It's to run English as a light, continuous track from day one — separate from, and lower-intensity than, your core Maths and GAT preparation — so that by the time you reach the interview stage, English is no longer the limiting factor.
