The single biggest mistake Class 11 aspirants make is treating NDA preparation as a separate subject that competes with school for time. It isn't. Mathematics and large parts of General Ability (Physics, Chemistry, English) overlap almost completely with the CBSE/state board syllabus for Classes 11 and 12. The first job of a study plan is to merge the two rather than run them in parallel.
Start by mapping the NDA syllabus against your school syllabus, chapter by chapter. Wherever they overlap — which is most of Mathematics and a large share of Physics and Chemistry — study the topic once, but practise it twice: once with your school textbook's problems, once with NDA-pattern objective questions. This single habit removes 30–40% of the additional workload aspirants think they need to carry.
